The topography is largely defined by land formations created by the receding Wisconsin glaciers. This formed the Trent-Severn Waterway with many lakes and rivers and now locks joining many of them.
The area is small towns joined by rural countryside and it borders on the provinces second largest provincial park, Kawartha Highlands.
The Canadian Shield ends and the St. Lawrence watershed begins.
We will be riding by pristine countryside near water on every ride following the Shimano bicycle routes done in conjunction with the Peterborough Cycling Committee.
Join us this year in Peterborough, Ontario!
Ride with us for 2 or 3 days from May 25th – 28th, 2018
